Each Coin Has Two Faces, I Am A Coin!

The Freewheelin’ Troubadour

The sun is shining in the park, upon the grass the school kids lark, playing games whilst passers by just smile.

Them butterflies they fly so wild, with the innocence of a new born child, as they gracefully flitter by every once in a while.

The swingers on the swings they swing, the old man whistles as the bluebirds sing and happiness can be seen all around.

No judgement felt, doing what you do, you can dance by yourself or dance with me too, the sparkle that you lost, here, can be found.

The old oak tree provides you shade, and all your bad thoughts seem to fade, as you lean back on its trunk, assessing life.

And if a tear befalls your eye, a passer by will help it dry, and give advice, to help rid all your strife.

A puppy cutely scurries by, there ain’t no grey clouds in the sky, like the oceans waves, it now looks deep and blue.

A couple sit in sweet embrace, with beaming smiles across their face, and for the first time they whisper "I love you"........

As the coin flips, the light turns dark, there's no more sunshine in the park, there's no more sky to fall, it's already fell.

The kids now weep as the dark knights creep, through fear they now choose not to sleep, instead they stay awake, in this living hell.

The park you played in once before has now been deemed the grounds for war, and all inhabitants flee from what was their home.

The butterflies turn to vengeful bats, bloodthirsty aids-infested rats, and perverted men are all that's left to roam.

The swingers swing, and their chain, it breaks, the grass you land is filled with snakes, and you cannot run, for these snakes they are your friends.

The sandpit houses needles and blood, the slide is now covered in mud, with knives that slit your skin as you reach the end.

Today is now deemed judgement day, you will be judged in every way, tomorrow, you shall conform or be judged again.

And the couple who shared loves embrace, now scream and spit venom in each others face, as they realise now that with love must come pain.
