No Piece

Stu Ngozi

Millions of mindless pieces, each to his and her own peace.
All trace lost in moments, self sabotage and hopelessness,
Desperate, determined, destined to die alone.

Cease.

Panic and chivalry, unrivaled wanton rivalry,
Only one meant for that single other, to father and mother another.
Yet chances are slim, lights slowly dim, hope dies for him and her.

Shadows devour each thrifted moment

Their crimes, prominent and stark, silhouettes carving hearts,
But in stone, what pulse can be driven?
Frigid and cold, a lost love awaits, for what?
Hate and oblivion.

Let's murder love's very nature

Bipolar torrents, love's careless death warrants,
Tearing through lips and teeth.
A painful sacrament, a hurtful moment,
As natural as plague and disease.

Carving ultra violet violence, into the darkness of her soul

Behold.
