What Happens Behind Closed Doors

Heather Rodwell

Life stick's a needle in one's eye
especially when you're about to cry.
Stomach clenches and out comes a worm.
Is this a test for me to learn?
Learn for what? Life's just a game
for the mind of the living, rotting, insane.
The existence of fault lies within reach
So hard to find a child to teach...

Teach what; who: does one desire?
Throw me a towel, I doth perspire.
The preperations come forth from my womb -
The typical chamber - a burial tomb.

Life and death, combine and play
With human emotions all night, all day.
When will existence leave us alone?
The day the Big Bright one, comes to take us home.
